The Photoluminor-S is a photoluminescence measuring device for highly sensitive spectral analysis. High-sensitivity measurement is important for detecting weak photoluminescent light. Highly sensitive measuring devices are able to accommodate changes in excitation power density, such as due to changes in the PL spectrum shape as a result of the increased excitation power density, or due to changes in the peak wavelength of the PL spectrum as a result of the variance in excitation power density.
The Photoluminor-S uses a high-quality condensing lens, and the software eliminates the impact of color aberration by moving the lens in synchronization with the measured wavelength. The impact of color aberration is particularly reduced when it is necessary to narrow down the slit under high resolution, thereby achieving highly sensitive measurements. The device accommodates a wide wavelength range of 400 - 2,700 nm.
